River Slunjčica is rich with creek trout, ad Korana, Mrežnica and Glina are rich witk all sorts of white fish. Rivers reflect harmony and atractive nature on the most beautiful way, so they are atractive to fishermen. Hunting

District of city Slunj is rich with all sorts of wild animals, but most of them are deers, wild pigs, rabbits, birds trčkas and wild ducks. Untouched nature and rich fond of wild animals offer to hunters true experience of hunting and socialising. Swimming, canoing and cajacing

Area around Slunj are just made for slowly revealing of its gorgeous nature. River Korana is heaven for swimmers because water can be warm 28 C degrees. Except swimming in slowflowing parts of the river, in some parts Korana flows wild and because of that it's possible to enjoy in canoing and cajacing. Rivers Korana, Mrežnica and Slunjčica are special because of their beauty and untouched natire, so their banks are very nice for resting and revealing rich flora and fauna in their surrounding. Those who love bicycling can ride on cycle paths that go through villages and get to know common living of man and nature, and on your way you'll be surrounded by green forests ad fields.
Bike route Slunj- Cetingrad- Slunj

Cycling through villages you come to the part of the track that leads you on gentle hills to Podcetin and you can enjoy the view to Cetingrad. On returning to Slunj you should visit the village of Rastoke whose"streets" are crossed by numerous falls. Total route length: 49.8 km

Outing to the Old Castle

Old Castle is first mentioned in 15th century, and it was built by croatian landowners to defend themselves from invasion of Turks. Its built on very good strategic point on rocky hill above the curb of river Slunjčica. It belonged to Frankopan family the most of the time. After every attack of Turks it is renovated, and last time it was burned in 1882. by some unknown people. Walls are saved until 1943., during the world war II they are crashed with canons. Complete destruction is stopped on iniciative of local inhabitants, and the rest of the walls are here todays, telling us the story of rough history and showing us the spirit of old times.
